Why Assignments?

"Therefore, my brothers and sisters, make every effort to confirm your calling and election. For if you do these things, you will never stumble," (2 Peter 1:10, NIV).

Teachers in the discipline of spiritual development provide tests to prepare students to meet the demands of God's commands (2 Pet. 1:5-8; Gen. 1:26-27). The Apostle Peter gives the command to follow a specific way of life to ensure we are fruitful just as the Master Teacher, Jesus, gives a command to follow a specific way of life for His disciples to be fruitful (John 15:1-4).

God demands faithful leadership, as demonstrated through a productive, fruitful life, that comes from knowledge of a qualified source of authority (2 Pet. 1:8). Our primary qualified Source is Jesus in His divine nature and power. Additionally, the Bible provides faithful leadership examples that give supporting evidence of what God requires (Heb. 11). Therefore, we are called to give an account that we know the source of our biblical authority--why we believe what we believe with the same motive and attitude of the sources of our belief.

Confirm Your Calling

The Disciple's Goal

We aim to qualify ourselves to join the list of Bible Faith Ministers (Heb. 11). We are all discipled under the Master Teacher and King through the power of the Holy Spirit. We do not lead by our own philosophy or authority (2 Pet. 1:16; 1:21).

Our research goal is to advance our understanding (seek) to have the King’s perspective in interpreting God’s Law, and this pursuit will help us understand what righteous character looks like—the right position we should have. We will then know what to have faith to expect God to add to us.
